Chad Gulledge, age 52, went home to be with our Lord on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 surrounded by His family. His services will be held at the Charter Funeral Home Chapel Monday, October 12, 2020. Visitation will be held at 2 pm followed by a service at 3 pm. Chad will be interned in Harpersville Cemetery.  He is preceded in death by his loving parents Jeanette and Loyd Gulledge, Jr.; sister, Rita Gulledge Cole. He is survived by his siblings, Kenneth Gulledge, Terry Gulledge, Bruce Gulledge, Tim Gulledge, and Jennifer Gulledge; sister-in-laws, Kelly Gulledge, and Debra Gulledge; brother-in-law, John W. Cole; 14 nephews and nieces, Shane, Keith, Brad, Blair Asbury (Mark), Brent, and Rylie Gulledge, Nathan, Dylan, and Karlie Garrett, Ashleigh Brown (Dwayne), Jonathan Cole, Tasha Clark (Shannon), Michelle Riddley (John), and Alexis Williams (Alex); 19 great-nephews and nieces, Miriam, Naomi, Seth, Cana and Titus Clark, Sky and Tori Riddley, Christopher Williams, Madden Cosper and Corbin Pruitt, Bryson and Peyton Garrett, Rowan and Lucian Asbury, Emma, Elyssa, Cole, and Audrey Brown, and Lila Kate Gulledge.

  1. Chad is one person that ALWAYS Made me laugh and had such a contagious laugh especially if the whole family is together.I always enjoyed being around him. Such a hard time for the family especially after just loosing their sweet mother. Prayers for the whole family, Jeff and Denise Brasher

  2. He was a truly unforgettable guy. Loved him the moment I met him. I appreciate the hilarious times and little adventures we shared. Chad has always crossed my mind regularly and always causes me to smile and laugh. There will never be another soul like Chad.Love and prayers to all of the family.

  3. Chad will be greatly missed. I love his heart and humor. I suppose God needed his humor in heaven. I know his Mom and Dad are greeting him with open arms. Fly high my friend. I’ll see you again.

  4. It seems like only yesterday we were cutting up in the hallway between classes in High School. I appreciate how you always made me laugh and I enjoyed the genuine friend you were. You will be missed by so many! Heaven gained a great person. I love you Chad! ♥️
