David L. Rupert, Jr. died January 20, 2019 at his home in Alabaster, AL. David was born on January 20, 1942 in Lewistown, PA. David married Jennifer L. Collins on July 10, 1965 and together they raised 4 daughters. David enjoyed a successful career with U.S. Steel and lived in Lake Hopatcong, Houston and Pittsburgh before ending up in Birmingham. He loved Alabama football and was a faithful fan – ROLL TIDE! He is survived by his wife, Jennifer, and his 4 daughters Tanya (Patrick) Vatuna, Heidi (Grant) Tolbert, Gretchen (Steve) Mehmen and Bridget Roper and his sister, Linda Edmiston. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren (Taylor, David, Matthew, Megan, Jacob, Josh, Riana and Gracia).
