Jack Hearn

Jack Hearn was born on June 26, 1946 to Nellye Elizabeth Burge & Stephen Earl Hearn in Lebanon, Tennessee.  He was married to the love of his life, Cindy for 43 years.  He graduated from Bellmont with a degree in Business Management.  He proudly served with the US Army in Korea from 1967 – 1969.  He worked in retail for many years with Macys.  He was a faithful member at Hunter Street Baptist Church.  He was a history enthusiast and enjoyed sharing his knowledge and love for model trains with his grandchildren.  Jack was preceded in death by 6 sisters and 2 brothers.  He was survived by his brothers, Thomas Nelson Hearn, Dr. Phillips Turner Hearn; wife, Cindy Hearn; son, William Keith Mason; daughters, Virginia Hearn Lail, Elizabeth Hearn Stanley (Andrew); grandsons, Aiden William Lail, Walter Jackson Stanley; granddaughters, Riley Alexandra Stanley, Taylor Isabella Stanley, Charlie Fields Stanley, Eden-Micah Sheppard Stanley, and Ivey Linnen Stanley. A celebration of life will be held at 10a.m. on Monday, June 17, 2019 at Hunter Street Baptist Church 2600 John Hawkins Parkway, Hoover, Al 35244. Burial will be in Alabama National Cemetery at 1:15 p.m.

  2. So sorry to hear of my dear brother being called home! I sure will miss this guy a great deal! He & I talked often and I sure will miss that about him! He was a dear man, and I just thought the world in all of him! Besides being family, he was just “special”!

  9. I met Jack when he fell in love with my dearest friend Cindy. He is a wonderful man who loves to learn new things and share them with all. His family loves him so very much and so do I. He and Cindy have always been great friends. God Bless you Jack and may Hod be with you Cindy and all the family.

  10. I was devastated to learn of the passing of my buddy Jack. He was always a delight to be around and so interesting. Love the Hearn family and mourn with you. I know brother Jack is in Heaven and free of pain. God bless and keep the Hearn’s in His loving arms.
