Mark R. Luehmann, age 62, of Alabaster, Alabama, formerly Downers Grove, IL, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2019. He was a veteran of the Army, a Medic stationed in Korea (Vietnam era) and former research assistant at UAB. He was hooked on computers and technology. He enjoyed collecting, music, and photography. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth Luehmann and Lincoln Luehmann, and brother, Bill Barrow.   He is survived by his son, Christopher R. Luehmann (Mandy) of Marietta, GA, and brothers and sisters, Melody Green (Phillip), Kathy Barrow, Steve Luehmann (Karen), Alan Luehmann, and Dan Luehmann (Gina). Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Charter Funeral Home, Calera, AL.  Memorial Service will be immediately following at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. John Mitchell officiating. Burial will in the Alabama National Cemetery, Montevallo, Alabama.
