  1. Bob was the reason I joined the Shelby Strummers. I loved hearing him sing, play his various instruments, and sit next to him when we practiced or played a gig. I will miss him dearly when I am able to get back to playing with the Strummers after this COVID pandemic. Loving kindness to Sallie and the rest of the Sutton family as you grieve the loss and celebrate Bob’s life. “What the heart has once known, it shall never forget.”

  2. Please my sincerest condolences. Although, I have not been in contact with Bob since I quit attending the Dulcimer meetings, I will always remember Bob’s rich tenor voice, playing the Hammer Dulcimer, and his easy going manner. I remember his smile. His obituary photo depicts an man who was at peace with God, himself and and those who were privileged enough to know him. In closing, I offer this prayer for those who are bereaved: O Lord our God, I ask that You comfort all who are bereaved with a spirit of faith and courage. Mary they remember with thanksgiving the love and joy shared in an earthly relationship. May they be comforted with the sure knowledge of a joyful reunion with those they love in Your time. In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
