  1. Susan, Ron was truly one of a kind! He would do anything to help a friend…including taking care of a tiny little puppy for a couple of weeks till she could be given to Courtney for Christmas! If I remember correctly, he named her Holly & the name stuck! He was a whiz at finding money lying around too!! Great memories of good times together! He & Malcolm can catch up in Heaven! Love you!!

  2. Ron was always a great person to me and always like to teach you to do something. I learned a lot from him and still use that knowledge today.
    Ron you will be missed.

  3. Ron and Susan have been wonderful neighbors for many years. We will surely miss Ron. His friendship was a blessing to us. We will be praying for Susan and his family during this sad time. May God bless you with His peace.

  4. Ron will be sadly missed. I met him when he was 21, even though he was my ex brother in law we always remained close. He use to say he never divorced me. I am grateful Ron knew I loved him and I know that he love me. It is hard to believe these 50 years have gone by so fast. I know though I will see him again one of these days and almost bet he will be one of the first to meet.
Ron was a good man and those who became his friends were very fortunate to of had him in their lives. I will always be his sister in law and he will forever be in my heart and prayers.

  5. Ron was my best friend as far back as High School. We took and did many adventures and was always up to practical jokes on people. Ron was a fun guy to be around and I loved him dearly! Sharon & I moved to Colorado and Ron moved to Georgia and then to Alabama. He met and married the love of his life after I met the love of my life. We both are blessed with wonderful gals. We visited off and on and called each other once in awhile during the passing years. I will
miss you, my friend. I will see you in heaven where we can have some more laughs together. Lots of Love, Bob and Sharon

  6. Susan & Family,
Ron was always a giver to those who he got to know. I remember when He and Michael were building those gas powered bikes. He rode down to Devin White’s house and said Harry take it for a spin. We all were laughing like teenagers that day. Susan we are paraying for you and the family during this time. I would like to invite you & the family to Calera Baptist Church this wednesday night at 630pm and Sunday morning at 1000am.

  7. Ron will be greatly missed by us. He was a true friend who always showed up in times of need and always made my friend Susan happy. Susan, Tommy and Michael we love you and will continue praying for you.

  8. Susan, I know how much he meant to you. I remember having a talk with him about Christ when he had heart surgery years ago. We had prayer together over the phone. He would always startel me when I called by calling out my name the first thing because you had ID on your phone. He loved it. He will be greatly missed.

  9. Fair winds and following seas and long may your big jib draw!
Will see you on the other side again.

  10. Rest in Peace sir. Your family is very sad about your lost, but they will be given the strength to keep the life go on
