Barbara Ann Hartley, 87 years young, passed peacefully on May 2nd surrounded by her daughter and son-in-law, Emilia (Wayne). Barbara was also survived by son Grant Kimball (Andrea); three grandchildren; Justin (Eric), Jeremy (Tamber), and Montana; and two great-granchildren Rowen and Avery. She was a resident of Pelham, Alabama for 36 years where she shared her love and life with Fred Hartley. Barbara graduated from Washington State University in 1955 with her Bachelor’s in Special Education. She completed her Master’s in Education from the University of Montevallo in 1990, at the age of 58. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alabama Symphony Orchestra in her name.
