Arthur Ellis Higdon of Alabaster, passed away on Monday, February 15, 2021. He was born in Birmingham, Al. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ellis and Margaret Higdon and his brother, Luther H. Higdon.

Arthur is survived by his brother, William Higdon (Loraine) and sister-in-law, Inez Higdon. Other survivors include several nieces and nephews who have many wonderful memories of the time they spent together.

Arthur will be remembered as the long-time owner and operator of Arthur’s Coiffeurs in Mountain Brook, Alabama. He had many hobbies and loved opera, traveling, gardening, and making wonderful holiday meals for his family and friends. Arthur also was a military veteran and enjoyed the time he spent in Germany as a member of the United States Army.
