Alpha LaFaye Pritchett Richardson, age 64, passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2021, surrounded by her loved ones. She is preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Pritchett. Alpha is survived by her children, Yasamie Richardson of Alexandria, Virginia and Tabu Harris (Samuel J. Harris Jr.) of Tuscaloosa, AL; grandchildren, Tatiana S. Harris of Tuscaloosa, AL, Samyeon J. Harris of Tuscaloosa, AL, Tyus & (LaKeshia Thomas) of Tuscaloosa, AL; great grandchildren, Sir J. Thomas of Tuscaloosa, AL and Nile J. Thomas of Tuscaloosa, AL; siblings, Jimmy Pritchett of Denver, Colorado, Ray and (Jeanette Pritchett) of San Antonio, Texas, Dorthy & (Bobby Johnson) of Hemet, California, Tyrone Pritchett of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Jerome Pritchett of San Antonio, Texas, and Matthew Pritchett of Newport, Rhode Island; her step-father, Matthew “Pie” Williams and a host of nieces & nephews. A celebration of life will be held in the Charter Funeral Home Chapel Friday, March 26, 2021. The service will begin at 1:00 p.m.
