Gary Edward Elliott
Gary Edward Elliott, 86, of Alabaster, Al. passed away Friday, February 12, 2021.
He was born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, the son of William (Bill) and Treasure Elliott.
Gary attended both Auburn University and Western Kentucky University. At 19, he began his career with Moore – Handley Hardware Co., and retired after 50+ years with the company. He was an Army Veteran, who served his country in Korea. He was proud to become an American Citizen in 1981.
Gary served as a Lay Eucharistic Minister at The Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit. And enjoyed singing in the choir.
Gary was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Joyce and his son Steve. He is survived by his daughter
Jennifer Creamer (Marty), his grandchildren Lindsey (Will), Garrett (Aimee), Patrick and Samantha. And his Great Granddaughter Elliott Jane. He is also survived by his sisters, Diane Osborne, Carole Dudney and Gail Patterson, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service to honor Gary’s life will be held at a later date at The Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit.

I know your hearts are breaking but he is now with his soulmate Joyce. He was an inspiration to so many people. May you find peace.
