Johnny Ray Melton, age 68, passed away May 9, 2020. He was discharged honorably from the U.S. Army as a Vietnam Veteran. He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Lois Melton; and his beloved wife of 40 years, Pamela Melton.  He is survived by his daughters, Angelia Smith Brown (Thomas S. Brown) and Amanda Rene Nichols; grandchildren, McKenzie Melton, Lillian Melton, Jayden Nichols, and Baily Smith; great granddaughter, Armani Rue Braxton; sisters, Sabrina Duncan, Sarah Pace and Shirley Ann Slaten; brother, George Denise Melton; and close friend, Vera L.G. Brown. There are no services at this time.
