Nonie Elizabeth Oakley Nabors

 Nonie Elizabeth Oakley Nabors, age 101, of Shelby County, Alabama, went to her eternal home June 4, 2018. Granny, as she was known to many, was a long time member of Concord Baptist Church in Calera, Alabama, where she taught classes for over 50 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lanning Ferris Oakley and Nannie May Oakley; husband, William Henry Nabors; brothers, James and Donald Oakley and sister, Virginia Hood. Survivors include her daughter, Sarah Nabors Knowles, son, Ronnie W. Nabors (Rhonda); grandchildren, Angela Douglas (Chris), Cory Nabors (Helen), Keri Cisco (Jay); great grandchildren, Connor and Kylie Douglas, Will, Luke and Susie Nabors and Collier Cisco. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, June 9, 2018, 11 am, at The Branch at Mission Hills in Alabaster, Alabama, Pastor Brook Lovett officiating.
