 Virginia Ann “Ginni”  Lawley, age 81, of Montevallo, AL, went to her heavenly home  Monday, December 5, 2016.  Ginni was retired from The Baptist Sunday School Board in Nashville, TN and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Pea Ridge, AL.  She was predeceased by her father,  John Burchfield (Hilda);  mother,  Anna Marie Burchfield and sisters, Mary Cook, Kathryn Burchfield and  Ester Ruth Burchfield.  Her survivors include her son, James T. James Blair “Jim” Acton, Jr., age 49, of Birmingham, AL, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2016. Jim  was a Member of the Church of Brookhills.  He graduated from UAB, worked in the Medical Records field and went on to create his own company “Acton Corporation.”  He fought a long battle with ALS.     He was predeceased by his mother, Brenda Bailey Acton. His survivors include his wife of 23 years,  Kristen Dreon Acton; he was a loving father to James “Blair” Acton III…
