Carolyn Cox Hunter passed away on December 5, 2019. She was 85. She was born on November 19, 1934 to Alberta and R.V. Cox in Birmingham, Alabama. She graduated from Woodrow Wilson Grammar School, Ensley High School (valedictorian), and Birmingham-Southern College (cum laude). While at Birmingham-Southern, Carolyn was a member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority and was elected to Who’s Who and Mortar Board. Carolyn was a devoted teacher for many years.
