Marion  Dorsey “Fritz” Hand,  Age 87, of Pelham, AL, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2017.  He proudly served in the U. S. Air Force in the Korean War. He was employed by the Texaco Corp. retiring in 1989 after 35 years. His hobbies include model railroading and  wood working.  Fritz  was active with the Boy Scouts of America  and received the Silver Beaver Award. His survivors include his wife of  62 years, Gloria Duncan Hand; children, Kurt Fritz Hand, Donna Hand Guevara (Boya) and  Andrea Hand Mathews (Tim); grandchildren, Heidi Hand, Perry Guevara, Kurt Hand (Amanda), Garrett Guevara, Mallory Mathews and Duncan Mathews and great grandchildren, Keara, Brent, Melanie and Waylon.  A  Private Family Memorial Celebration will be held on Wednesday, May 17,

2017,  with an interment to follow at a later date in the Alabama National Cemetery.    Charter Funeral Home.
