Bernard “Barney” Barnett 

March 29, 1930 – August 31, 2021

Barney was born in Colby, Kansas, March 29, 1930 to Lester and Adele Barnett loving and Godly parents.  He was married to Marian now deceased for almost 58 years. Survived by his sisters, Helen Klein and Grace Jones, six children, Randy Price, Mike Price Janet Foley, Karen Johansson, Lisa Lichlyter, and Becky Barnett; 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.  He delighted in praying for and serving his family, and his extended family in the Body of Christ.  He entered into a meaningful relationship with the Lord when he was 37 years old, and tried to walk in His footsteps ever since.  He loved woodworking, electrical work, and electronics.  Now he is “better” with the Lord. Praise His Glorious Name!

A visitation will be held on September 8, 2021 at 10:30 am at Charter Funeral Home with a service to follow at 12:00 PM. A burial will follow at the Alabama National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. with military honors.
