John Ellison White, age 57, of Calera, AL, formerly of Tuscaloosa; passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2016. He was employed in the lumber business since his teenage years and held many positions including management, CEO and co-owner of Central Builders Supply in Pelham, AL. John was predeceased by his parents, John and Hilda White and sister, Vivian White Beams. His survivors include wife of 22 years, Jan White; daughters, Raven and Ashlyn White; sisters, Linda White Posey and Susan White Siegal; nieces, Stephanie Williams (Shannon), Heather Redd (Johnny), Erica Babcock (Dave), Andrea Siegal and Dr. Nicole Siegal Martin (Rhett); nephew, Bo Posey (Megan) and a host of other family members. A Celebration of Life will be Friday, September 9th at The Calera Community Center, 8560 Highway 31, Calera, AL 35040, beginning at 12 noon, the family will receive friends until 7 p.m.
