Allene Brogden Marquess

August 20, 1938 – June 3, 2018

Allene Brogden Marquess, age 79 of Calera, Alabama passed away Sunday, June 3, 2018.  Allene was the daughter of Bardy and Gracie (Harris) Isbell.  She was predeceased by her parents, as well as her loving husband, James G. Marquess; and son, John Bardy Brogden.  She is survived by her daughter, Catherine Ann Brogden; son, Milton E. Brogden; brother, Bob Isbell (Connie); sisters, Claressa McCloud and Patricia Talley (Donald); grandsons, Sean Brogden and Tyler Brogden; granddaughters, Shara Brogden and Katie McKeller (Tyler); greatgranddaughter, Madison Grace McKeller; and a host of nieces and nephews.  There will be a visitation on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 12:00 p.m., both held at Charter Funeral Home.  Brother Donald Talley officiating.
