Thomas Edgar “Tommy” Dew
Thomas Edgar “Tommy” Dew, age 70, of Pelham, AL, went to be with Jesus Sunday, December 25, 2016. Tommy loved his family, he and his wife Kay moved from Tennessee to be closer to his family. While living in Gatlinburg,TN he became a member of Glades Lebanon Church and became a wood turner. He loved wood working, NASCAR and sports. He retired from BellSouth after 30 years of service. His survivors include his wife of 48 years, Kay Dew; daughter, Melissa Dunaway (Shane); son, Kevin Dew (Karyn); sister, Paula Johnson (Steve); grandchildren, Blake, Meghan and Nathan Dunaway and a host of other family members and friends. A visitation will be 11:30am –12:30pm, Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Charter Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 12:30pm. A Committal Service with Honors will immediately follow at the Alabama National Cemetery.

Dear Aunt Kay and Family,
I am so sorry about Uncle Tommy. I want you all to know that y’all are in my thoughts and prayers. Tommy was a wonderful sweet man, and he will be terribly missed.
