Ethel Moist Perkins, of Childersburg, Alabama died Saturday morning, June 24, 2017, at St. Martin’s in the Pines in Birmingham. Born and raised in Abbeville, Louisiana to Albert Reynolds Moist and Aline Starr Burwell Moist, she moved on to earn a BA in Music and Religion from Huntingdon College and her Masters and AA Certification from the University of Montevallo, both in Alabama.
