Ronald Oliver “Ron” Tidwell died Saturday, August 3rd at Brookwood Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama.  His wife, son and several close friends were in attendance. Ron was predeceased by his mother, Lorine Wallace; his father, Oliver Tidwell; his son, Frank Tidwell; and his son-in-law, Joe Russell, Jr. Ron leaves his wife and best friend, Fay Palmertree Tidwell; step son, Juston Palmertree Russell; cousin, Mickie Sisemore; granddaughters, Samantha Underwood, Leslie Logan, and three great grandsons.
