Allen Willard McClure

Allen Willard McClure was born on December 17, 1933 in Scottsboro, Al. to Jack Lee McClure and Alberta Whitehead McClure.

He passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 after a long battle with peripheral arterial disease (P.A.D.) He was preceded in death by his loving  wife of 68 years, Esther McClure, who died exactly two weeks earlier on Wednesday, January 9, 2019.

Allen served 25 years in the United States Air force, he served both in Korea and Vietnam.

He loved fishing and was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan.

Allen is survived by four children, Wilfred McClure (Dottie), Gary McClure (Karen), Tamera Vaughn (Calvin), Sherri Kristjansson (Trausti).

Grandchildren, Jennifer Windstein, Erin Geary, Dustin McClure, Amy Mosely, Leighanne Jones, Emily Vaughn, Allison Graham, Alexander Kristjansson and 11 great grand children.

Grave side service will be held at the Alabama National Cemetery on Friday, April 26th at 12:30.
