Diana Elizabeth Hussey

Diana Elizabeth Hussey, age 52, of Maylene, AL, passed away Friday, February 10, 2017.   She was born in Ft. Gordon, Georgia on March 23, 1964 to Clarence and Graciela Martin.  Diana is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, Greg Hussey; three sons, Tyler, Derek and Josh; step-daughter, Summer Bishop; brother, Steve Martin and
his wife, Teresa and their children, Hollie and Daniel; sister, Patricia Martin and father, Clarence Martin.She will also be remembered by numerous extended family, friends and fur babies, Precious, Sophie, Uriel and Salem.  Diana was passionate, outgoing and compassionate, everyone can agree that her smile could light up any room.   She
loved people and was always there to cheer on her family and friends. Diana was very active in the Alabaster Community and her children’s sports and band activities.  She loved singing and dancing  and Crimson Tide Football.   Her faith was a strong motivator in her life, we know she is looking down on us  from Heaven encouraging
us to celebrate, rather than mourn her death.  A visitation will be 1-3 pm, Sunday, February 19, 32017 at Thompson High School Auditorium with a Celebration of Diana’s Life to follow at 3-4 pm at the high school auditorium.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Diana’s name to The Go Fund Me account ” Loving Memory of Diana Hussey” for her boys.   1. I will always remember how caring and supportive Diana was when I was the principal at Creek View Elementary. She was a great volunteer, and she was always actively involved in classroom activities. I loved her cheerful ways and beautiful smile. She is missed by so many.
