Dorothy A. Livingston, age 79, passed away Thursday, August 8, 2019, in Alabaster, Al. She is preceded in death by her parents, Tilda and Brady Anderson; sister, Sue Jenkins; and brothers, Glenn and Walter B. Anderson. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Nelson E. Livingston, daughter, Deborah L Leirer; son, Scott E. Livingston (Mica); granddaughters, Megan Livingston and Sarah Grace Livingston; grandson Justin S. Livingston and Clayton T. Leirer (April); and great grandsons Tyler T. Leirer and Colin D. Leirer. A visitation will be held on   Friday, August 16, 2019 at 1 p.m. followed by a service at 1:30 p.m. in the Charter Funeral Home Chapel. (2521 Hwy 31 Calera, AL 35040) Interment will be held on Friday, August 16, 2019 at 2:45 pm at the Alabama National Cemetery.
