Gary Wayne Tubbs, age 71, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2020.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Cam and Bobbie Tubbs.  He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Frances Gail Tubbs; sons, Joshua Tubbs (Lindy) of Helena, AL and Jonathan Tubbs (Kim) of Birmingham, AL; and grandchildren, Josie, Amelia, Waylon, Laurel and Eva; He will also be remembered by his brothers, Larry Tubbs and Michael Tubbs and sisters, Cindy Tubbs Monroe and Lisa Tubbs Seales, as well as many friends. Mr. Tubbs proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force.  During his time in the USAF, he was stationed in different parts of the world including Thailand during the Vietnam conflict, Germany, California, Florida and Alabama, among others; he retired after 21 years.  He was also a proud employee of the USPS for close to 20 years.  Mr. Tubbs will be interred in the Alabama National Cemetery. There are no services at this time.  Charter Funeral Home entrusted.
