John Charles Higdon, Sr.

December 1, 1946 – June 26, 2018

John Charles Higdon, Sr. of Helena, Alabama, age 71 passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2018.  He is survived by his loving wife Linda Higdon; daughter, Laurie Segers (Steven) of Alabaster, Alabama; son, John C. Higdon, Jr. of Denver, Colorado; granddaughter,  Annmarie K. Segers of Alabaster, Alabama; and sister, Bobbie Jean Higdon of Greensboro, North Carolina.  He is preceded in death by his parents, William Edward and Mayme Katherine (Cornwell) Higdon.  A visitation will be held Monday, July 2, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., followed immediately by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m., both held in the chapel of Charter Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Southern Heritage.
