Johnny Wayne “Lu Lu” Lewis

Johnny Wayne “Lu Lu” Lewis, age 56, of Brierfield, AL, passed away and went to fish in the Lord’s River,  Wednesday, February 22, 2017.  Lu Lu loved his dogs and chickens.  He  also loved fishing, hunting and gardening with his boys,  but most of all his pride and joy was his boys. He was predeceased by James and Emma Lewis and brother, Billy Lewis.  His survivors include his wife of 21 years, Betty Lewis; sons, Johnathon Wayne Lewis and Buddy Lewis; sisters, Michelle Lewis and Katie Cannady; mother-in-law, Sheila Sorrow; sister-in-law, Bobbie Jacobsen (Zeek); brother-in-law, Jeff Glass; father-in-law, Roy Glass (Pat) and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.  A gathering for a  Celebration of Lu Lu’s Life will be held  2 pm, Saturday, March 4, 2017 at the Cahaba River  at the Old Slab where he loved to canoe and fish.
