On Sunday, August 18, 2019, Michael Leon Lucas, age 33 of Robbinsdale, MN went to be with the LORD. A native of Montevallo, AL, Michael loved life. His big smile, infectious laugh and hugs will be missed. He is preceded in death by his dad, Hubert Leon Lucas, Jr. He is survived by his mother, Leslie “Jennie” Lucas; brother, Kevin B. Lucas; nieces, Lexi Lucas, Khloe, and Gracie; uncles, Roy Lucas (Rhonda) and John Lucas (Linda); cousins, Cheryl Tipton, Emily Gardiner, and Brian Lucas. Michael was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend to many.  He attended Shelby Academy from pre-K to 8th grade and Montevallo High School, where he graduated in 2004. Michael moved to Minnesota where he resided until his death. He had been a member of Wilton Baptist Church, in Wilton, AL. Michael’s services will be held in the chapel of Charter Funeral Home on Saturday, August 24, 2019, with a visitation from 11:00 a.m. –  1:00 p.m. followed immediately by a celebration of life at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in Shelby Memory Gardens.
