Sherry Hagler Banks

 Sherry Hagler Banks, age 67, of Alabaster, AL, originally from Brundidge, AL, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2016. She was an avid Auburn Football Fan and loved dogs.  Sherry was predeceased by her father, Gerald Hagler. Her survivors include her daughters, Lisa Banks Bonamy (Michael) and Lindsay Banks Miller (Ryan); Zama Hardy Adams (Melvin); brothers, Jerry Hagler (Sophia) and Don Hagler (Pam); grandchildren, Caroline Bonamy, Colin Bonamy, Ansley Miller and Harrison Miller; nieces, Christy Creel (Todd) and Donna Hagler and nephews, Lance Hagler (Stephanie) A Memorial Service will be 1 pm Friday, December 23, 2016 at Charter Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations are made in Sherry’s name to the Shelby County Humane Society.

  2. So sorry for your loss. Sherry was a first cousin of mine. I will not be able to attend the services but our thoughts and prayers are with all of you, We love you.

  4. Lisa and Lindsay, I’m so saddened to hear of Sherry’s death! She was a really good friend of mine. We lived near each other when you all lived in Forest Oaks in Greensboro. Yes. she did love dogs and every time we talked, she mentioned getting a new one. Hope she had gotten one to loved. She was a wonderful and funny friend and deserved anything she wanted!
