Thomas T.  Buffkin, Jr., age 71, of Alabaster, AL, passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2017.  He wore many coats, that of a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, provider and friend. Tom was a wise man, with many stories to tell.  He  knew the Lord and entered into the Kingdom of Heaven. He was employed as the Service Manager at Bart Starr Automotive and Royal Oldsmobile.   He was predeceased by his sons, Jerry Buffkin and Terry Buffkin and father, Thomas T. Buffkin, Sr.  He leaves behind his wife of 32 years, Donna Bowen Buffkin; children,  Emily Mathis (Jarmare), Amy Buffkin,  Sarah Rooney (Matthew), Pollyanna Buffkin (Bryan LaMaster) and Jordan Buffkin (Anthony Caffey); brothers, Gene Buffkin, Stephen Buffkin and Richard Buffkin (Madonna); sister, Brenda Morgan (Greg) and grandchildren,  Olivia, Ethan, Markus, Eian,  Madison, Elizabeth, Isabella,  Peyton, London, Jeremiah, Ava Naomi and Marley,  A visitation will be 12-1 pm, Friday, October 6, 2017 at Charter Funeral Home with a Funeral Service to follow at 2 pm, at the funeral home.  Charter Funeral Home is directing.
