Betty Jean Kizziah Pettit, age 75, of Calera, AL, went to be with her Lord and Savior  Wednesday, June 15, 2016.  Betty graduated from West Jefferson County High School.  She was predeceased by her brother, Jack Kizziah.   She was a loving wife of 53 years to Jerry Pettit; mother to her daughter, Cindy Stone (Terry) and son, Jody Pettit and grandmother to Chelsea and Parker Stone;.  She is also survived by her brother, Bill Kizziah (Wynnette); sister-in-law, Jimmie Kizziah and special cousins, Peggy Ford (Troy), Sonya Veitch (Shane) and Michael Ford.   A visitation will be 1-2 p.m., Sunday, June 19, 2016 with a Celebration of Betty’s Life to follow at 2 p.m.
