Judith C. O’Connor

Judith “Judy” C. O’Connor, age 66, of Columbiana, AL, passed away Monday, June 13, 2016, at her home.  Judy was a graduate of A. G. Parrish High School in Selma, AL, she went on to Birmingham Southern College where she Majored in Psychology.  She was a career Law Enforcement Officer, serving 25 years with the Alabama Pardon and Parole Board in such capacity she served 6 years as a member, having been appointed by the Governor and 2 years as Chairman.  She was a member of Columbiana Church of Christ.   She was predeceased by her parents Harry and Martha Cosby Carmichael.  Her survivors include her husband of 43 years, Bob O’Connor; daughter, Shelby O’Connor; son, Will O’Connor; sisters, Shelby High and Martha Jean Pierce (Kent);  brothers, Cosby Carmichael (Marsha) and Jimmy Carmichael (Jeanie)  and a host of nieces and nephews.  A Memorial Service will be 3 p.m., Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Columbiana Church of Christ.

  1. She will missed by all who knew and loved her. Our prayers and thoughts are with the family of Bob, Shelby and Will during this time of sorrow. Judy was a great example of a Christian woman, wife, mother and friend. We all will meet again in God’s eternal glory!

  2. she hated the U.S. Constitution because it protected inmates but she did not care she hated inmates and left to her ,her group VOCAL would murder every inmate incarcerated ! judy , may you burn in hell with all your other man hating, teeth knashing femi nazis .
